Authors of accepted papers (oral presentations and posters) are required to prepare a pre-recorded video. The pre-recorded video, along with a release form, must be uploaded by November 8th, 2020, 11:50pm PST. Videos will be made available to all conference attendees until at least December 26th, 2020 (details on how to access the videos will be posted soon in this page). Video and release form uploads are managed through PaperPlaza, using the quick-link shared with each corresponding author. Alternatively, corresponding authors can login to their workspace and follow the link to upload (or re-upload) the video presentation file until the deadline.
Please note that the file must be a video file in mp4 format (additional details below). Please do not try to upload PowerPoint or PDF files.
The release form grants us the permission to host the presentation video on line to be accessed by virtual conference attendees. If the release form is not uploaded together with the presentation video, the presentation will not be hosted in the online proceedings.
While we are unable to provide individualized technical support to help you create your video, one possible approach to record a compatible video from content displayed on your computer screen and voice recorded via the computer microphone, is to record the presentation using Powerpoint or Zoom.
Please use the following guidelines for preparing your video:
Duration: 10 minutes
File size limit: 50MB file
File format: mp4
Minimum height: 480 pixels
Aspect ratio: 16:9
Please note the above specifications will be checked at the time of submission and files not meeting them will be prevented from being uploaded.Except for the above duration and digital constraints, the form of the presentation is left free (though please be sure the video includes the title of the paper, the authors, and a mention to BioRob 2020).
Please start early: given that the resulting video files will be very large, they might need a long time to transfer, and you might not be able to upload them in time if you start late.
